Interesting fact
The Sikyon Stater was one of the first coins to feature a portrait of a deity. The obverse side of the coin features a depiction of the goddess Hera, while the reverse side features a representation of a dolphin, which was a symbol of the city of Sikyon. This coin was minted during the reign of King Lysimachus, who ruled Sikyon from 400 BC to 323 BC.
