Coinage was produced during the Russian-Turkish war in 1771-1774, by order of the Russian government on Sadogursky private mint (Sadagura) on the territory of modern Ukraine. Double denomination (in Russian and local currency) contributed to establishing the correct equivalents in the calculation with the local population in the procurement, mainly of food and fodder.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the Para / 3 Dengi 1771-1774 coin from Moldavia and Wallachia is that it was issued during a time of great economic and political change in the region. The coin was introduced as part of a broader effort to reform the currency and trade systems of the two principalities, which were then under the rule of the Ottoman Empire. The coin's design, which features a unique blend of Islamic and European motifs, reflects the cultural and religious influences of the time. Despite its relatively small denomination, the coin played an important role in facilitating trade and commerce in the region, and its issuance marked a significant step towards the modernization of the local economy.
