Comment

Coinage was produced during the Russian-Turkish war in 1771-1774, by order of the Russian government on Sadogursky private mint (Sadagura) on the territory of modern Romania. Double denomination (in Russian and local currency) contributed to establishing the correct equivalents in the calculation with the local population in the procurement, mainly of food and fodder.

Interesting fact

The Pattern Para / 3 Dengi (Pattern) 1771 coin was minted during a time of great change and political upheaval in Moldavia and Wallachia, which were then two separate principalities that would later become part of modern-day Romania. The coin's design features a unique blend of Eastern and Western influences, reflecting the region's rich cultural heritage and history.
