The series was struck to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first book, A Bear Called Paddington, by Michael Bond.Issued individually in a Brilliant Uncirculated pack (28,219 sales) and available to third parties in tubes (55,499 sales).
The fourth and final Paddington Bear commemorative coin, the others being Paddington at the Station, Paddington at the Palace and Paddington at the Tower. The coin was also struck in silver colourised proof and gold proof.
