Comment

The Cathedral of Santa María de Huesca is located in the old town and on top of a hill in the extensive square that bears his name. Of Gothic style, Jaime I considered unseemly the celebration of the Christian cult in the old Muslim mosque, so he proposed the construction of a new Cathedral at the end of the XIII century, ending it in the sixteenth century. It has an important documentary and goldsmith treasure, as well as three beautiful naves with side chapels. On its cover you can admire the figures of the apostles carved in stone.
