Date of issue: 18 MAY 2000During the Russo-Turkish wars 1768-1774 and 1787-1791 the Russian army headed by A. V. Suvorov won victories near Kozludji (1774), Kinburn (1787), Foсsani (1789), Rоmnic (1789) and took the stronghold of Izmail by storm (1790).
