Colored coin and stamp set - British Columbia Lions (2012)

The British Columbia Lions* have many reasons to celebrate this 100th edition of the Grey Cup®.

This commemorative stamp takes us back to the exhilarating 1994 final, when Baltimore's up-and-coming team nearly took the Grey Cup from Canada for the first time in history. Lui Passaglia rose to the occasion, scoring in the dying seconds in front of a jubilant B.C. crowd.

The Lions have won the Cup five other times: in 1964, 1985, 2000, 2006 and 2011.

The 25-cent commemorative coin celebrates the team's six victories in ten Grey Cup appearances, as well as its performances and milestones, which are a proud part of Canadian soccer history.

Special features
- A doubly advantageous offer! When you buy the coin, you receive two special edition CFL stamps: one depicting the Grey Cup, the other honoring the British Columbia Lions!
- The 25-cent copper-nickel coin features a specimen finish to which a painted image has been added.
- The ball adorning the coin is engraved in relief to reproduce the look and texture of a real Canadian soccer.

The stamps:
Each of the two commemorative Canada Post stamps is a PERMANENTTM domestic rate stamp.
