Interesting fact
The Saskatchewan Roughriders coin was part of a series of coins issued by the Royal Canadian Mint to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Grey Cup, which is the championship game of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on one side and a design celebrating the Saskatchewan Roughriders' Grey Cup victories on the other. It was released in 2012 and has a mintage of 20,000 coins.
