D-Day was the largest seaborne invasion in history which took place on 6th June 1944 and began the liberation of German-occupied France during WWII.Released as part of the 2019 annual silver piedfort commemorative sets (issue limit: 1,000; sales 282), as well as individually (1,594 sales), the design was also struck in copper-nickel, silver proof and gold. Issue limit: 2,019.
