This coin celebrates the 270th anniversary of the birth of the famous Ukrainian composer, choral conductor, music teacher, reformer of sacred music, and one of the founders of the classical music tradition – Dmytro Bortnianskyi. Bortnianskyi composed operas, choral, symphonic, chamber and instrumental works, in which musical themes from Ukrainian folk songs are reflected.
