Interesting fact
The Pattern 2 Anna Pattern (Peacock Displaying) coin from 1949 is a rare and unique coin that features an error in its design. The coin was intended to have a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on one side and a peacock displaying its feathers on the other. However, due to a mistake in the minting process, the peacock's feathers were accidentally printed on the Queen's side of the coin, creating a rare and unusual design that collectors highly prize.
