Crowned coat of arms flanked by branches, two eagles' heads around the crown. To the centre the arms of Austria, on top the patriarchal cross of Hungary and the lion of Bohemia, below the arms of Burgundy and the eagle of Tyrol. Below the value in brackets. Legend around the rim for "Archidux Austriae Dux Burgundiae Comes Tyrolis".

Interesting fact

The 1 Thaler coin from the Austrian Empire, minted between 1741 and 1744, features an image of Empress Maria Theresia on one side and the Imperial Eagle on the other. It was made of silver with a purity of .875 and weighed 28.82 grams. Interestingly, this coin was used as a means of payment for the Habsburgs' military campaigns during the War of the Austrian Succession.
