Interesting fact

The 1 Thaler coin from the Austrian Empire, minted between 1744 and 1745, features an image of Empress Maria Theresia on one side and the Imperial Eagle on the other. It was made of silver and weighed 28.8 grams. Interestingly, this coin was used as a means of payment for the Habsburgs' military forces during the War of the Austrian Succession, which lasted from 1740 to 1748.
