Interesting fact
The 1 Thaler coin from the Austrian Empire, minted between 1735 and 1740 during the reign of Charles VI, was made of silver and had a unique feature - it was one of the first coins to feature a portrait of a ruler with a beard. This was a departure from the traditional depiction of rulers with clean-shaven faces, and it signaled a shift towards a more relaxed attitude towards facial hair in European society.
