Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 1982-1984 United Kingdom 1 Penny coin is that it was the first coin to feature the second portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, which was designed by sculptor Raphael Maklouf. This portrait was used on British coins until 1997, when it was replaced by a new design by Ian Rank-Broadley.
