Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1983 New Zealand Silver Proof 1 Dollar coin is that it was minted to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the decimalization of the New Zealand currency, which took place in 1967. The coin's design features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, and the reverse side depicts a stylized representation of the royal crown, surrounded by the inscription "10th Anniversary of Decimal Currency 1967-1977." The coin's silver content and proof finish add to its collectibility and numismatic value.
