This Sterling Silver crown-sized dollar coin commemorates the Chatham Island or Black Robin. It is an endangered bird from the Chatham Islands off the east coast of New Zealand. It is closely related to the South Island Robin and was first described by Walter Buller in 1872.

The coin was issued in a capsule in a plush case. (15,000 Copies)
