Interesting fact
The obverse (front) side of the coin features a portrait of Alexander the Great, while the reverse (back) side depicts a seated Zeus holding a scepter and an eagle. This design was chosen to symbolize Alexander's divine lineage and his role as the king of Macedonia and the conqueror of a vast portion of the known world.
