Illustrated coin on this page is the Restelli# 99 itself.Interesting fact
The Tari coin was used as a form of currency in Malta during the rule of Grandmaster Jean de Vallette, who was a prominent leader of the Order of Saint John (also known as the Knights Hospitaller). The coin was minted in 1557 and features an image of de Vallette on one side and the coat of arms of the Order of Saint John on the other. It was made of silver and weighed 2.54 grams. Despite its small size, the Tari coin played an important role in the economy of Malta during its time and is now considered a valuable collector's item.
