Interesting fact
The Tari coin was minted during the reign of Grand Master Jean de Vallette, who was the founder of the Order of Saint John (also known as the Knights Hospitaller) in Malta. The coin features an image of de Vallette on one side and the coat of arms of the Order on the other. This coin was used as a standard circulation coin in Malta during the 16th century and is now considered a rare and valuable collector's item.
