Interesting fact

The Abydos Stater was used as a form of currency in ancient Greece and has been found in various archaeological sites across the region. Despite its age, some of these coins have been well-preserved and are considered valuable artifacts among collectors and historians. In fact, a similar Abydos Stater made of electrum sold for over $15,000 at an auction in 2019!
