Interesting fact
The Mallos Stater is considered one of the earliest coins to feature an image of a deity. The obverse side of the coin depicts a bearded Apollo, while the reverse side features a lion's head and the mint name "MALLOS". This coin was issued during the reign of the Persian Empire, and its design reflects the cultural exchange and influence of the ancient Greek world on the Persian Empire.
