Interesting fact
The Nagidos Stater was minted during the reign of King Artaxerxes III, who ruled the Achaemenid Empire from 378 BC to 365 BC. The coin features an image of the king on one side and an inscription in ancient Persian on the other. Despite being made of silver, the coin was not used as a standard unit of currency in the empire, but rather as a form of commemorative coinage. Its unique design and historical significance make it a highly sought-after collector's item among numismatists today.
