Interesting fact
The Kyzikos Stater from Mysia, made of Electrum and weighing 16.04g, is believed to have been minted during the reign of King Kroisos (560-540 BCE). It features an impressive design, with the obverse side bearing the image of a lion's head and the reverse side featuring a double-headed eagle. This coin is considered a rare and valuable artifact, with only a few examples known to exist in the world.
