Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features an image of Commodus, who was a Roman emperor from 180 to 192 AD, on the obverse (front side), while the reverse (back side) bears the image of Providentia, the Roman goddess of foresight or providence. This coin was minted during Commodus' reign, and it is believed that the image of Providentia was included to promote the idea that the emperor's rule was divinely ordained and that he had the ability to see into the future.
