Interesting fact
The Miguel I 1828 gold coin from Portugal was minted during a time of great change in the country. King Miguel I, who ruled from 1828 to 1837, was a controversial figure who usurped the throne from his niece, Queen Maria II. This coin was minted during his reign and features his image on one side and the Portuguese coat of arms on the other. Despite the political turmoil of the time, the coin remains a valuable and sought-after collector's item among numismatists today.
