Interesting fact
The Oktobol - Pyrrhos coin was minted during the reign of King Pyrrhos of Epeiros, who was known for his military campaigns against the Roman Republic. Despite being vastly outnumbered, Pyrrhos was able to achieve several victories against the Romans, including the Battle of Heraclea in 280 BC. The coin's design, which features a portrait of Pyrrhos on one side and a depiction of the goddess Athena on the other, reflects the cultural and political influences of the time.
