Interesting fact
The Oktobol - Pyrrhos coin was minted during the reign of King Pyrrhos of Epeiros, who was known for his military campaigns against the Roman Republic. Despite being vastly outnumbered, Pyrrhos was able to achieve several victories against the Romans, earning him the nickname "The Eagle of Epeiros." This coin, which features an eagle on one side and Pyrrhos' name on the other, may have been minted to commemorate his military successes.
