Van Gelder & Hoc call this an enseigne which appears to mean a pattern of larger than normal size.  The diameter is considerably larger than a normal Toison d'or, and the weight is about 3 ½ times as large.

Interesting fact

The Pattern Gold Fleece coin featuring Philip the Handsome is a rare and unique piece, with only a few known examples surviving to this day. One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted during a time of great turmoil and change in Europe, with the Renaissance and the Protestant Reformation taking place during Philip's reign. Despite these challenges, the coin still features intricate details and beautiful craftsmanship, showcasing the skill and artistry of the medieval mint masters.
