Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the Double Parisis coin is that it was minted during the reign of Charles V of France, who was also known as Charles the Wise. He was a skilled diplomat and strategist, and his reign saw the signing of the Treaty of Brétigny, which established peace between England and France after the Hundred Years' War. Additionally, Charles V was a patron of the arts and sciences, and he founded the University of Orleans.
