Mint was read as Sarai al-Jadida (by Fraehn) or Khwarizm (by Fedorov-Davidov and Sagdeeva), but the prevailing opinion now that reading as Khwarizm is not correct
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Dirham "Dang" coin is that it was used as a form of currency during the Golden Horde, which was a Mongol khanate that ruled over much of Eastern Europe and Central Asia during the 13th and 14th centuries. The coin was made of silver and featured an inscription in Arabic that read "Dang" or "money," indicating its use as a medium of exchange. Despite its age, some of these coins have been well-preserved and are highly sought after by collectors today.
