The Dirham "Dang" coin was issued during the reign of Jani Beg, who was the Khan of the Golden Horde from 1345 to 1357. The coin features an interesting blend of Islamic and Mongolian influences, with the obverse side bearing the name of the Khan in Mongolian script, while the reverse side features an Arabic inscription with the name of the mint, Saray al-Jadida, and the date of issue, 752 AH (1351 CE). This coin is a rare example of the cultural exchange and blending that occurred during the Mongol Empire's expansion into Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
