Script: Arabic

Lettering:
الله احد الله

محمد رسول الله ارسله بالهدى و دين الحق ليظهره على الدين كله ولو كره المشركون

Translation:
God is One God

has not been begotten and never is there
His equal

Muhammad is the messenger of God. He sent him with guidance and the true religion to reveal it to all religions even if the polytheists abhor it.

Comment

The date is written in full, on the obverse. The script is somewhat calligraphic so not exactly like is presented below.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it was issued during the reign of Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Umawi, who was the last Umayyad caliph of Córdoba, and it features an inscription in both Arabic and Latin, reflecting the cultural and linguistic diversity of the Emirate of Córdoba during that time.
