Interesting fact

The Pergamon Didrachm was used as a means of payment for mercenaries and soldiers during the reign of King Eumenes II. Its design features the image of the goddess Athena on one side and the king's name on the other, signifying the importance of both military power and divine protection in the ancient Greek world.
