Interesting fact

The Denier koronny coin was issued during the reign of Sigismund I the Old, who was the King of Poland from 1506 to 1548. What's interesting is that Sigismund I was not only the King of Poland, but also the Grand Duke of Lithuania, which made him the ruler of a vast territory that stretched from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea. This coin, which was made of silver, was used as a standard circulation coin during his reign and features an image of the king on one side and the Polish coat of arms on the other.
