One interesting fact about the coin is that it features a unique reverse design, which was created by sculptor and designer, Gary Breeze. The design depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves, with the inscription "ELIZABETH II • DEI • GRA • REGINA • F • D" (Elizabeth II, by the grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith) around the edge.
