Comment

The statue of Jupiter at Olympia was one of the seven wonders of the antique world. Was engraved by Phidias, circa 438/430 BC, made of ivory and gold and about 12.4m. high. On 394 AD was moved to Constantinople (actual Istambul) while loss reasons are unknown, is believed it was destroyed on 5th. Century, during a fire at the palace where was placed.
