Comment
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon were part of the seven wonders of the antique world, placed a Babylon, close to king's palace. There are 2 versions of it origins, possibly built on 6th. century BC, during Nabucodonosor reign, or circa 810 BC.The gardens was not really hanging, possibly owing to a translation mistake, but they were terraces at different levels. Water used in them were take from the river below, and stored in a high depot on top.
Owing to Babylon decadence, the gardens were abandoned, and became ruins, the remains were destroyed on year 126 BC.
