Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design that commemorates the United Kingdom's membership in the European Union. The coin's reverse side depicts a stylized image of the EU flag, surrounded by the inscription "EUROPEAN UNION" and the dates "1998-2009." This coin was issued during a time when the UK was still a member of the EU, and it serves as a symbol of the country's participation in the organization.
