Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day, which is significant because it marks a crucial event in World War II where Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy, France, and began a turning point in the war. The coin's design features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, along with an image of a soldier on the beach, and the words "D-Day 75th Anniversary" inscribed above. This coin serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made during the war and the bravery of those who fought for freedom.
