Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique reverse design depicting a modern pentathlon athlete in action, which is a combination of five different sports: fencing, swimming, horse riding, running, and shooting. This design was created by the British artist, David Rowlands, and it was the first time that a pentathlon theme was featured on a British coin.
