One of the first coins to be issued under the reign of King Charles III, released on Monday October 3rd 2022 at 9am to commemorate the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II. Due to unprecedented demand, the mintage was unlimited until 31st December 2022.The coin was issued individually (21,432 sales) as well as in a coin and stamp cover (199 sales) and in tubes (1,500 sales) was also struck in copper-nickel, silver piedfort, gold proof, gold piedfort and platinum proof.
