Interesting fact

The 50 Centavos coin from Mexico, produced between 1955 and 1959, has an interesting feature. It was designed by Mexican artist José de Creeft, who was known for his work in sculpture and coin design. The coin's obverse side features a portrait of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, a leader of the Mexican War of Independence, while the reverse side depicts an eagle standing on a cactus, which is a symbol of Mexican independence. This coin was also the last coin to feature the image of Hidalgo before the design was changed to the current coat of arms of Mexico.
