Comment
Initially, this series was intended to be 23 silver proof coins, issued in monthly intervals as subscription. Unfortunatelly, after issuing only eight coins, Royal Mint decided to stop this collection. Krauze catalogues list the full range of these coins, even most of them were never issued.Below the photo of the commercial leaflet from Royal Mint (image from Royal Mint Museum). This leaflet confirm that originally 23 coins were planned.
Interesting fact
The interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design, with an image of Wayne Rooney, a famous English footballer, on the reverse side, making it a rare and collectible item for coin enthusiasts and football fans.
