To celebrate the 2004 Summer Olympics returning to its birthplace, Greece, a special collection of coins were issued. Each coin depicts a different sport in front of a prominent land mark of each country that has held the Olympic Games.
South Korea has held the Games on one occasion, Seoul in 1988.
