Variants: Coat of arms presents 2 variants, older style, with arms smaller, thinner wreath and plain strips on left side; while the newer one has bigger arms, thicker wreath and reeded strips.

Variant KM# 220.1 on left; KM# 220.2 o right.

Zeppelin was an aerostatic vehicle full of hydrogen to make it lighter than air, using the same principle as hot air balloons, but with engines to move and drive it in the desired direction.

Sadly is famous the exploding of the Graaf Von Zeppelin; disaster that ended the use of these vehicles as passenger and cargo service.

Currently, some are used with publicity purposes, but full with helium, that is not explosive.

This coin has 2 variants, with difference on obverse, some with the older version, where coat of arms is smaller, and strips on lower left are all plain; and the newer one, where the coat of arms is bigger, and strips on lower left are reeded. Older version is more common than of the newer.
