Interesting fact
The Pattern 5 Pesos (Pattern strike) 1894 from Guatemala made of Brass is a rare and unique coin, with only 500 pieces minted. It was designed by the Guatemalan artist and engraver, José María del Castillo y Fajardo, and features a portrait of the Guatemalan national hero, José María Morelos, on one side, and the Guatemalan coat of arms on the other. The coin was never officially released into circulation, making it a highly sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
