Coins and Species is a collection of coins made of pure silver (law 0.999). This collection consists of 10 coins with motifs of animals in danger of extinction in Mexico and an album to collect them. It is a limited edition and part of the resources raised from its sale will be used for conservation programs for species and their habitats.

"Cocodrilo de Rio" is the largest reptile in Mexico, the oldest males can measure up to 5 m. in length or more. Its body is elongated and is covered with very hard scales, which form small ridges on the back, which form two rows that run to the tip of the tail. Their legs are short, and on the hind legs the toes are joined by a membrane, which allows them to be used as paddles during swimming. The tail is very long and strong; its head is flat and its snout is elongated, armed with large fangs. The eyes and nostrils are located in the upper part of the head and the muzzle, so they can observe and breathe out of the water, while their body remains submerged.
