Within a vegetable ornamentation setting there is a depiction of a rat made in a technique of a cheap popular print (a rat eye is decorated with 0,01 carat diamond). Both above and below this composition there is a depiction of contour figures of all 12 symbols of the Oriental calendar.

The coin is dedicated to Year of the Rat, one of animal-symbols of the Oriental calendar, which is based on the twelve months cycle of Jupiter, the largest planet of the Solar system.There are 2 varieties of the coin. There are many differences between them, for example, different tail designs. But the key difference - the right lower bunch: without "holes" (this is the most common type) and with "holes" (more rare).
