Comment

The Royal Palace of Riofrío is one of the residences of the Spanish Royal Family, managed by Patrimonio Nacional. It is located in an enclave of the municipality of Real Sitio de San Ildefonso (Segovia). The palace is Italian style with a square floor and three floors high, designed by the Italian architect Virgilio Rabaglio in the image and likeness of the Royal Palace of Madrid. Of interest are the Hunting Museum, as well as the interior courtyard, the staircase of honor, the chapel and its collection of paintings, tapestries and furniture.

Interesting fact

The Royal Palace of Riofrío coin has a unique feature; it has a mirror-like finish on the palace's representation, giving the illusion of a reflective surface.
